This Greek-inspired Caprese Panini combines the flavors of traditional Caprese salad with Greek elements like tzatziki sauce and roasted red peppers. It’s a delicious and satisfying sandwich that can be enjoyed for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of ciabatta bread
- 4 slices of fresh mozzarella cheese
- 4 slices of ripe tomatoes
- Handful of fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 cup of tzatziki sauce
- 1/4 cup of roasted red peppers, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for grilling
Instructions:
- Preheat a panini press or a grill pan over medium heat.
- Slice the ciabatta bread in half horizontally to create the top and bottom of the sandwich.
- Spread a generous amount of tzatziki sauce on the bottom half of each slice of bread.
